I can't believe its November. This is, by far, my favorite time of the year. I love the colors, the smells, bundling up, sipping on warm drinks, cozy fires, starting traditions, holidays, seeing extended family more... I love it all! I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year with Zachs side of the family and I am so excited. My fall decor is up and we are ready!
A lot has changed around here in the past few weeks. Zach got a new job (woot woot!). Man, I couldn't be more proud of him! He has worked his booty off in the last year and got approached by a fabulous company to be their E-commerce Lead Designer. I am so thrilled for him. Its an awesome job. I am so thankful for him and all his hard work. We have come so far in the last few years since we have moved back to Washington from Nashville. I remember feeling pretty overwhelmed when Zach lost his job 2 years ago when Paisley was only 8 weeks old. It's encouraging to look back and see where God has brought us. He is GOOD!
Another change around here is that I moved the girls into the same room! Paisley was SO excited about sharing a room with Sadie. She was begging to sleep in her crib with her. I had to shoot that one down and explain that she will get to have plenty of slumber parties with Sadie when she is a bit older! We are looking forward to making Sadie's old room an office.
Paisley is a NUT. She seriously cracks me up all the time. She is quite the little talker and I hear a new sentence come out of her mouth every day. I always look at her and say "where do you learn these things!?" and she quickly responds, "from you mom!"
I've tried to be good at writing things she says down, because its shocking how quickly I can forget! Some of her latest are:
"I can't have beer. I'm too little."
After I went to the bathroom and walked out the door she runs to me and says, "Oh, mommy! I am SO proud of you!!!"
The other day Paisley heard someone say "oh, brother!" and later that night, she was eating a pickle and dropped it on the ground and said "oh, my brother!"
As she comes walking into the room the other day, she looks at me and says, "Oh, hey sweetie pie!"
My mom asked Paisley the other day after BSF if they sang any fun songs in her class and Paisley quickly responded with, "No, we can't sing songs because they don't have a karaoke."
These are just some of the few things I hear coming out of that little girls mouth. I love that girl so much.
It's pretty hard to get pictures of her sitting still nowadays. They are usually action shots like this.
Here she is after saying "mom, want to see something crazy? Watch this..I'm jumping so high like Mount Rainier" while jumping off the bumbo seat.
Sweet little Sadie Lane. Hard to imagine that she is 4 months old. We often call her "Sades" or Paisley calls her "Sadie Sunshine Ennis" Speaking of Paisley and Sadie.. Man, they are SO cute together. Paisley is the BEST big sister. She talks to Sadie with a high pitch baby voice and loves to give her toys. They are going to be good friends.
Life is GOOD and we are thankful for it!

I guess I should have read your blog before I saw you today! So much has changed for you guys. I am so happy for Zach and your family about the new job! And I love that the girls are sharing a room, that will be so fun for them. They will probably stay up late at night chatting with each other and telling funny stories, I can just picture it now! I just love your sweet family and that we get to spend time together and watch our girls grow and become the best of friends. Love you all!!
I love everything about this, but my favorite has to be "Sadie Sunshine Ennis" lol! Love it...she made my day!
