My sweet girl decided to make an entrance into this world 2 weeks early. Sadie Lane was born on Friday, July 13th and weighed 6lbs 8oz. She has completely stolen my heart!
Here's a few pictures of her that Zach took from yesterday at 4 days old.
She looks so much like Paisley did as a baby, except she has way darker features. She has made the transition from 1 kid to 2 kids SO much smoother than I could ever imagine. I had no idea what to expect and it has been 5 of the best days of my life. Watching Paisley interact with Sadie melts my heart. I can't get enough of those two! Paisley loves Sadie. She hardly ever walks by Sadie without looking at her and saying, "OH! She's SOOOOOO cute!"
Sadie is such a good baby. I hardly ever hear her make a peep, other than when she starts to get hungry, she will make a few noises and an occasional cry. She reminds me a lot of Paisley as a baby.. very content and loves to lay still and look around.
We are so blessed!
Aaaaand... as if having a baby wasn't enough exciting news for Zach and I.....
We bought a house!!!
Aaaaand... we close next week!! We couldn't be more thrilled. So, on top of feedings, taking care of Paisley, running errands with a newborn, changing lots of teeny tiny diapers, getting spit up on, etc.. we are packing packing packing! Needless to say, life is busy. I am loving every minute of it, though. I feel unbelievably blessed.

Congratulations on your sweet girl!! Sadie is absolutely beautiful, and I love her name! And, congrats on the house, what an exciting time :) I loved reading about Paisley's reaction to her sister, what a doll!
We sooooo loved meeting Sadie Lane yesterday! What a precious, perfect little heart melter! Really didn't want to give her back! And Miss Paisley . . . I could just eat her up! You are so blessed with two of the cutest little girlies ever!
So excited for your little family to be moving into your new house! And how fun to be neighbors with Chris, Christy and the kiddos! These little cousins are going to make memories that will last a life time!!
And I agree with Paisley, Sadie is "so cute!"
Oh! Ali! Seeing these adorable picures of Sadie and the one with Paisley just melts my heart. You and Zach are certainly blessed... you deserve all this happiness! Poppy and I are the proudest grand parents and "great" grand parents EVER!
