ramblings

I have decided that I like taking pictures with my phone instead of Zach's Canon. That thing is just way too overwhelming to me. The other day, my brother, who has the same camera, told me I needed to remember to change the F Stop. The what? I didn't even know where the F Stop was and I have been trying (keyword: trying) to take pictures with this camera for months now. No wonder my pictures always came out blurry and with weird coloring. It all makes sense now. So, for now, I will stick to my camera phone, or go back to those old fashioned disposable cameras - those never given me any trouble.

Paisley is doing great, she is still moving all over the place, with the funniest "crawl" I have ever seen. But hey, it gets her from point A to point B (usually point B is my dad) so why change it? I'm sure thats what she is thinking.

Zach is still working at Eddie Bauer. He loves it. His contract is up December 10, so we are praying, praying, praying for something full time after that!

I have been training for a 5K turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning. I'm slightly nervous, excited, terrified. I had a dream that we were going to have to "run" up a spiral staircase the whole way.. with Paisley in my arms. Just the fact that I am even dreaming of the run means I've officially gone crazy.

Just in the last few weeks, Paisley has finally learned what the words SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT actually meant. She is finally sleeping 11+ hours. To say that I am happy about this is a complete understatement. I thought I was going to have to just accept that I had a baby who didn't need a ton of sleep. I'm very glad that I don't have to accept that.

Last, but certainly not least, I have wonderful news. My reeeeeeeaaaallllyyy good friend Liz and her family are moving home in December. YES! I.AM.SO.HAPPY! She has been a great friend of mine since I graduated high school and was my matron of honor. I am thrilled that she is coming back. Now I just need to work on Nicole and Jenna...
