Happy July!

Poor little Paisley has been in a bit of a funk these last few days! She has cried a lot more than normal and decided to barely eat during the day, which of course, caused my supply to go down and made me nervous because I wasn't sure what was going on! I started taking fenugreek (which TOTALLY helped) and my supply is back up. She is still skipping feedings throughout the day, and definitely a lot more fussy.. which I am hoping is just a phase. I took her to the doctor today, just to make sure she was gaining enough weight and healthy. The doctor says she is perfect, which makes me feel a lot better! I just feel bad for her, because you can just tell she is upset and totally out of sorts every once in awhile! Poor thing! One thing the doctor did mention, was that he could tell by listening to her tummy that she was super gassy - so, he mentioned putting a warm wash cloth on her stomach after feedings to help get her gas out and keeping her upright for 20 minutes after feedings, too. He thought that since she had so many bubbles in her tummy, it was making her feel really full and that was why she was skipping feedings and extra fussy! I'm hoping it works :)

She weighed in at 11 pounds 2 ounces. She is in the 11th percentile for weight. I didn't get her height checked, because it wasn't a typical "well baby" check up. I was actually pretty shocked that she only weighed 11 pounds, because she is chubby and heavy to me! She weighed in at exactly 10 pounds when she was 2 months old, so I figured she would have weighed more. I guess I'm not allowed to complain about my back hurting anymore after I carry her! ;)

She has been so verbal lately! She loves to "talk" and hear her own voice. She will copy some of the noises and facial expressions that we make. She's so cute! She's been making the face below, a lot! Open mouth, making sweet, sweet little sounds!

Zach is still looking for a full time position. He had an interview yesterday and has another interview next week, so we are hoping for something soon! He has been working temporarily for Eddie Bauer and has loved it, so we are also praying for the door to open up there as well!
