My parents came to visit last week for a long weekend. It was so much fun! Ever since we moved here, my dad has been dying to go to a really good BBQ joint. He finally came across a recommendation in a magazine (I think it was Food & Wine or something..??). So while they were here, we definitely wanted to try it out. My dad was just talking the place UP, he was so excited! As we pulled up to this place, the first thing out of my dad's mouth was "You have GOT to be kidding me!!" I'm not even exaggerating y'all, it was a SHACK!!! The picture above doesn't even do it justice. We were so nervous. We felt a little out of our comfort zone while we were there, but the food ended up being really good!! I was very happy that we decided to still eat there. Why is is that all the delicious recommendations always end up being hole in the wall shacks!?

The trip with them was amazing, and way too short. I cried like a baby when they left. Also, if you all could pray for Zach and I. This last week for me and my work was really hard. I am the manager at our town homes, and the day that my parents left, I met with my boss and found out that I couldn't work as the manager anymore because I don't have my real estate license. It was a shocker. Ultimately, I KNOW that God is in control, but this week has been really draining with all of the unknowns. As of right now, I am the manager until the end of this month, and I haven't decided what I will do next. So if you could all lift up a prayer for us, we would really appreciate it!
